Want to know the 'how to' as an internet marketeer rather than just the what?
Too many Internet marketing books tell you the “what”, when you really need the “how”. They tell you, “You need to upload your sales page to your website.” But, they never show you the steps of actually uploading that website – they don't show you the “how”. Finally a few smart people are catching onto this niche in the market.
Not everyone is a born teacher in that when designing courses they actually go through and don't assume prior knowledge (or that if you learnt it once, it didn't 'stick') Why are so many information product creators writing “what to do” books, when they should be giving you the full “here's how you do it” information? Because it's much easier to tell you what to do, rather than take the time to actually sit down and show you. It's like the difference between telling someone, “You go to 336 Pine Street” and explaining to them, “You go two blocks down this street, turn left on Magnolia Avenue, go straight a half block, and it's the yellow house on your right.”
Kevin Riley, creator of this course, writes the kind of detailed e-books that show you exactly, step by detailed step how to do something. He never assumes knowledge. He never skips over anything. And now, he's created a comprehensive Home Study Course that takes you every little step of the way from the very beginning all the way to having your own profitable home-based Internet business.
His strategies include: step-by-step screenshots, illustrations, and photographs. Kevin has created this simple to follow Home Study Course that anybody – of any skill level – can easily follow. To get you fully organized for success, he even includes a valuable 'Set Yourself Up For Success' guide
Go to: Home Study Course to make your dreams come true
Also well known for vastly over delivering on highly under-priced products, Kevin has delivered again, with this Home Study Course being no exception. Go now and get it while it's still at the ultra-low Recession Buster price. Begin your journey toward your dream now.

Online Business - Seriously....look before you leap!!
I admit... yes, on at least two occasions... myself and my partner got caught up in it (oops - just remembered a 3rd)... such as signing up for internet coaching programs only to regret it later. Then the process of either successfully or unsuccessfully trying to extricate ourselves from that decision.
On a positive note our habits have changed now. Thankfully we are much more discerning. We both see these experiences as times of major growth not only in things we learnt through these programs but also in how we had succumbed to the hype and jumped in without really considering the consequences.
So at least from my own perspective a few tips especially when considering education or coaching programs:
1 If you are forced into a situation where you need to sign on the dotted line on the same day - walk away - really! Even if they offer you a money back guarantee, in our experience these guarantees have been worded in the company's favour, of course.
2 If you join because you really like the people - still walk away. You never know how long those particular people may be around. If the program is really that reputable it will stand up to searches on the people involved.
3 If there is any hiding of the company (which for some silly reason even some of the top company's do) - walk away.
Saying all this I don't regret the experiences. I do wish that people would have more integrity and the team leaders or company executives would actually respect other people and come together more in partnership and use the strategies as guidelines rather than the only way to do business. Numbers in the short term will be up however over time, people are people and business is still business and base principles do not change.
If the offer stands up to even just 24 hours of scrutiny - time to sleep on it - time to research the company, the people and perhaps checking forums for feedback on the offer. and you still want to go ahead - great - do it! Also allow that some people on those forums just don't want to succeed and can post negatives - be discerning there too - are there situations that could affect you.
Recently we have joined and completed another program and love it. Why is it better?
1 The people are up front. They originally came highly recommended. We know who we are dealing with.
2 They deliver on their promises. Basic transactions are honoured - you buy something and get it - it's not rocket science!
3 They reply to queries in a timely fashion and have forums and 'question and answer sessions' and especially coaching with professional people (rather than totally inexperienced people).
4 We are getting great value for money - even you spend ten times as much or more - it does NOT mean the service will be better.
In closing, my advice is to investigate offers first, before signing up. Seriously, if people want your business they will let you in the next day. If they don't allow that, then there are certain to be other areas of concern in the way they do business.
Be brave and take risks in life as well as in business however take on the challenges with wisdom!!!!

Getting Started in Affiliate Marketing in 3 Easy Steps
Affiliate marketing can be described as an agreement between a business, offline or online, and a parent company (affiliate) in which the business is rewarded financially for selling the affiliate's products through the business' website, or other online medium. This works well in the sense that the affiliate gains access to much larger markets through the promotion efforts of an independent business, reducing outlay in advertising costs while still profiting from potentially increasing sales and exposure. Every customer who clicks on the business' ads, and subsequently purchases the product(s) generates commissions. The business will not have to concern itself about product shipping, returns or customer service. The commissions are usually based on a percentage of the sales price of the product, and may also include continuity income when the product sale includes a continuity agreement.
For those who are interested in such an arrangement, the three steps described below are essential for continued success...
1) Find an area which you are sincerely interested or passionate. It would be advisable to select an industry in which you have some expertise, as this would flatten the learning curve. It will also be significantly easier to create the website if you have some expertise in the subject matter required for top quality content.
2) Choose your affiliate program carefully. The program should be popular, with fairly high gravity. It should also include good payment levels, as would be expected to cover the costs of advertising (PPC, etc.). The landing pages and sales letters should be well crafted with excellent copywriting, along with other promotional materials.
3) Once you have selected your product and affiliate, then your website and landing pages should be centered in promoting that product. There is work to do here; it would be advisable to look into joining social bookmarking sites, hub pages, creating blogs, and other such media which are basically essential in product promotion. There are numerous resources available for education and information in these areas.
Persistence is important. There is some "overnight success", but it is generally random and very transient. Do not be easily discouraged. It may take up to 6-12 months to become expert in this area, but the rewards are well worth the effort.

Moneymaking Made Easy With Affiliate Programs
If you are very new and want to make money with affiliate program, you need to know that an affiliate program is where you promote other's website by allowing keeping their links in your site. What actually happens is you will promote their products either with sales or with campaign. The main merchant will affiliate with you and the consumers will be routed through your website and results in buying the product or increasing the traffic to the merchant website.
Most of the time the programs will be sharing some profit on what they make on each sale. Therefore, if you lead a customer to their product and it is sold, you will be paid accordingly. This kind of affiliate program actually started with promotions for the adult website and later on, it spread in to all the markets. The amounts of sales generated by this kind of programs are in billions.
Amazon was one of the most popular websites that has used this program. The ads and ad links will be given to us on to our website and when some visitor of your site clicks it and reaches Amazon and finally purchases the product, your job is done. Everyone who had a website then started to sign up for the affiliate program and it spread like wild fire.
With the entry in to the era of blogs, everyone started to make money with affiliate programs. Having a blog is child's play and you can keep the affiliate links in your blog and divert your visitors to your affiliate partner. In addition, pray that they buy the product so that you are paid for it.
Apart from this there used to be pay per click which was used for promotions but automated bots have evolved and all this kind of stuff became a scam. The most profited industries with the help of this kinds of affiliate programs are the gambling, adult and the retail markets and those which have a high probability of growing soon in this are mobile, finance and the travel industry.
The amount of money you make with affiliate depends on the traffic of your website. If you have a busy website with thousands of visitors everyday, then the probability of you diverting at least ten percent of them to your affiliated sites and may be 1% might end up buying. It might look small but what you have sold can be big and more over if you realize you made money with very little efforts.
So what are you waiting for? Start something interesting either a website or a blog. Promote it among your friends and at college or your workplace. Isn't moneymaking made easy?

Why Internet Marketing is So Great
As someone probably wanting to escape the offline world and make an income online, you will have probably heard out this something called 'internet marketing'. But why is internet marketing so good and such a great place to start making a profit (note internet marketing can be replaced with 'affiliate marketing')?
You Don't Have to Have A Product
Instead, there are thousands of merchants out there that are more then willing to get you to promote their products and pay you a percent of the profit. You don't need to have your own product to be an internet marketer, as you are promoting someone else product. In return for a sale, you get a cut of the profit.
It's Free
It is totally free to find a product to promote. Check out a site and see if they have an 'affiliate' program. If they do, check it out and see what you have to do. Most of the time they will give you a special link which then you can use to give to your traffic. If the site you visit doesn't have a program, then there are many websites like Clickbank which can give you products to promote.
There is Plenty of Money to Be Made
Take a product selling for say, $50. Most affiliate programs offer about 50% to 75% of the profit to you, just for sending the merchant them traffic. If you got 75% of the $50, then you would get $37.50 a sale! Make three of those a day, and that's $112.50. Not bad, and many major affiliates are getting 50 or 60 sales a day. So there is plenty of money to be made.
So there we have it, three great points which explain why internet marketing is so great. Now get to it!

the goal is to be running the online business from anywhere
Decide where you want to base your business from eg for taxation purposes then pack your suitcase - oh and if you plan to hang around for a while in one place best to arrange your visa beforehand.
Again for more information on your destination - 'google' it. There are certain to be blogs to give you the information.
For me in 2008 it was Bali, Indonesia. I began a book about expats doing business in Bali. The plan today is to get back there in the very near future to finish it so I can offer it to those people who are considering not only a lifestyle or sea change but a country change such as living the dream life in exotic Bali.

How to Avoid Distractions and Achieve Success in Your Home Based Business
Most people dream of starting a Home Based Business to get away from the drudgery and monotonous 9 to 5 jobs. They are sick and tired of working for a Boss, commuting long distances to their work place and their inability to spend more time with their family. Above all their small pay packet never seems to be enough. Starting a home based business could be just the panacea for their problems. It is not just running a business based at home but achieving success is what matters most.
Working at home in your business is not a difficult proposition but it is important that you remain focused on your business and not be distracted by other activities that are taking place or bound to take place around you.
1. The first thing that should be uppermost in your mind is that this is your business. You are the Boss. Your success will depend on how much time and effort you are prepared to put in. The more effort you put in the more successful you will be and the more income you will generate. So you have to start the day by putting your best foot forward.
2. Disturbances and distractions are a major problem for those who work at home. To minimize this you should organize a Home Office in some convenient place in your house and leave instructions that you should not be disturbed during your working hours.
Create a pleasant environment that will inspire and motivate you to work at home in your home office.
3. One of the major problems faced by home based business entrepreneurs when they work at home is the tendency to get disorganized. Distractions by the kids, family members, visitors, telephone calls are but just a few of the problems. This situation can be avoided by having a planned work schedule for your day to day work. Have a master list prepared every day and prioritize your work. You can make changes as and when the need arises. Set your hours of work say from morning 9.00 AM to 5.00 PM and stick to it as far as possible.
4. The idea of starting a home business is often kindled by the desire to spend more time with the family. Rather than allowing the family members to distract you from your work, it will be wise for you to allocate some time specially to attend to family matters on a planned basis. You should judiciously plan your work in such a manner that you will spend some time with the family everyday so that your spouse and kids reap the benefits of your presence at home. So it is up to you to ensure that this happens, for happiness at home will definitely reflect in the progress you make in your business and boost your morale.
5. To many home based business entrepreneurs the biggest distracters are friends and neighbors rather than the spouse and the kids. Once they know that you are at home, the tendency for them to chat or ring you up will be a distraction that you will find difficult to avoid. You have to be firm and request them not to contact you during your working hours.
6. TV programs and those specially targeted for stay at home moms are a great distraction. Keep away from them during your working hours if success is your goal.
Distractions are always a problem; sometimes there are exceptions too, especially when you are exhausted and tired the little toddler straying into your home office is certainly welcome. This can cool your nerves, reduce your stress and act as a soothing balm.
Avoid being distracted by your kids, spouse, friends and neighbors but endeavor to keep them happy while you work at home. Maintaining a balance is very important while you remain focused on achieving success in your home based business.

2. Type of business. There are so many home based businesses that you can consider these days. You can sink your teeth into buy and sell, offer graphic design or consulting services, sell delicacies, etc. You'll increase your chances of succeeding in this endeavor if you choose something that you find truly interesting. mentoring and coaching highly recommended
Blogging in itself is an amazing and powerful tool as is Twitter as a microblogging tool.
If you haven't already jumped on the social media band wagon - the time is now - be a person of action rather than inaction. As David Schwartz in his best-selling book 'The Magic of thinking Big' puts it - get the action habit.
Don't be afraid to make mistakes - just learn from them!!!
As with most of us mere humans, we need to be lead by example by people who we revere. There are many mentoring and coaching programs out there but do they deliver? Make an informed decision on who might be able to help you.

Tips to morphing your business to survive and even thrive in economic downturns.
This current downturn is the third I have personally experienced in adulthood. Back in the late 1980's was scary especially if you had a mortgage however as with all black clouds some also had a silver lining - those who had investments - for example in the bank such as term deposits and in those days mortgage savings accounts which offset your mortgages.
In the late 1990's there didn't seem to be as much of an impact in Australia but at that time I was dealing mainly with South East Asian clients and most often with projects between Australia and Indonesia. This was the time of the Monetary Crisis or in Bahasa Indonesia - 'crismon'. I went from having a few very cushy lucrative contracts and an office in the main street of Perth to working from home and working full-time as a domestic to ensure the business kept going and I had money to re-invest into it. Fortunately this did not last a full year and there were those around me advising me to diversify and offer the same services to the local market and get a bit more hands on. Thankfully I did and these experiences have really made a difference in preparation and the handling of this current and even more severe economic crisis.
So tips include:
1 Diversify your income options - in addition to your normal job (or even business) consider other income options so even if the worst happens and you find yourself either unemployed or losing big contracts as a business owner/operator - you are not totally reliant on this one source of income.
2 If you haven't already started a savings plan and a giving plan - it's never too late. Even a few dollars squirrelled away can assist you and others.
3 Invest in yourself - this may be through adding more into superannuation or investing into your business or future.
4 Make the most of the downturn and take the time to smell the roses [during the late 1990's while on an extended trip to Indonesia - I had the opportunity to visit many old business associates and see how their lives had simplified - yes, they had lost their cars or their fancy apartments but they had come to cherish this extra time off spent with family - it also seems a few more babies were conceived at this time!]
5 make time to meditate or pray or contemplate (whichever method you prefer) and allow your creativity to flow - be open to new opportunities whether they be a second job, home based business, internet or network marketing.....
6 be disciplined - even a few hours a week will make a difference - stick with it and if you do not lose heart your efforts will be rewarded
7 be teachable - most people have an opinion and usually this annoys others however sometimes they have a point - consider suggestions and make informed decisions before rejecting things out of hand.
8 Read the success stories of people you admire - what can you learn from them and perhaps adopt into your own circumstances.
Life is a challenge - there will always be ups and downs - seasons of sewing and reaping - these last few years in Australia have seen many reaping but now perhaps is your time to sew again for future harvests.

6 Tips to Dream Building
In life sometimes even the most choleric or sanguine personalities can undergo depression - not necessarily a clinical depression but a loss of heart or hope.
We need dreams... they help us focus on what life could be ...only if...
A couple of years ago I was blessed and so had the chance to change my life so my daydreaming of "what would I do if I won lotto?" or "what would I do if I found a rich husband?" came in very handy!
Tips to building your dreams
1 make a list of your dreams - try and reach 10 or even 100 dreams and tick these off as you go along. These can be anything from having enough money to pay your rent, getting out of your current debt, visiting your sponsor children, paying for your relatives in Europe to come to Australia to visit
2 commit to those dreams - perhaps start off really small if that is easier. eg buying that skincare kit to look and feel younger, or joining that extra special gym to get fit and meet motivated people
3 make a plan - keep on the lookout for opportunities to achieve those dreams. Hint: if there are possibilities of working with others - companies or people - with fantastic reputations - become involved with them
4 work with a team of supporters - surround your everyday with positive people who think big and encourage you. If there are phlegmatics or melancholies in your household - reduce the influence they have on you and increase the influence you have on them - eg watching or listening to motivational movies, film clips, cd's, inspiring music, read books, and say positive affirmations
5 journal daily or at least a couple of times a week and record your journey for prosterity and maybe publishing later - share your experiences with those around you - inspire others. Notice that sometimes even perceived negatives can be inspiring.
6 be the person you want to become - live life to the full, learn everyday, laugh heartily and love expansively

How to Implement a Blog Hub Strategy in Your Small Business Marketing
Blogs are all the rage right now, and rightly so.
They are very versatile and easy to manage, compared to a big Website.
They offer a place for people to comment and share insights.
And they look good! Well, most of them anyway...
But perhaps most important, for a small business owner, is the blog's potential for making money.
In the lines that follow, I outline the basic strategy for creating a Blog Hub, which can then become the center of your small business's online marketing efforts.
A Visitor-Friendly Space On The Web
Blogs are some of the most visitor-friendly places on the Web.
Why?
Because they are non-threatening.
When people think of a blog, they don't think about getting a sales pitch.
They think about receiving information.
Your blog's first and foremost job is to gather folks together (think of your blog as a virtual meeting place for the people you reach out to in your business) and provide them lots of information, along with an opportunity to interact with you and other visitors through comments.
That's what they expect when they come, and you don't want to let them down, right?
Moreover, along with the great information you provide, people will (thanks to the Blog Hub Strategy) look for an opportunity to take the next step and do business with you.
The Blog Hub Strategy and Your "Feeder Spokes"
So once you have a blog in place, you need to start to get visitors to it, so it won't just be a ghost town. Remember, the search engines will take some time to find you, so if you just rely on your content to get search engine attention and visitors, you might have to wait awhile.
With your blog positioned as the center or "hub" of your online marketing efforts. however, you can start feeding your own traffic in.
And you do this by adding "spokes" in the way of feeder sources that bring you visitors.
These feeder spokes are such things as links from your social networks, links from your article bio boxes, links from forum posts, links from other blogs, links from your other websites, etc.
Your blog is the starting point for people to really get to know you personally, since it's the part of your social media sphere that offers you the best opportunity to not only establish your identity as a businessperson, but also to show off your expertise.
Making Your Blog "Sticky"
A blog with high quality content is what used to be and still occasionally is referred to as a "sticky site."
This means that people will bookmark you and come back at regular intervals, most commonly when you post new content. Having good content is an integral part of a Blog Hub Strategy, since your content is why people come visit you in the first place.
Plus each time someone comes back, your relationship with them is cemented further. That's why you absolutely MUST post regularly to your blog if you want to use it as any kind of a sales and marketing funnel. By posting regularly to your blog, you feed your visitors' hunger for information. The Web is an information medium, after all. People are starving for good information on tons of topics.
You then need a way to follow up with people. This is normally done through email, rather than through your RSS feed. Utilizing the Blog Hub Strategy as a marketing tool means using your blog to make money, and the best way to make money from your readers is to follow up with them by email at regular intervals with more great content and an occasional irresistible offer just for them.
You also need to implement monetization features on the blog itself. These features include things like paid advertising, links to sales pages for affiliate offers, reseller offers, and products or services you provide personally.
Try not to do any heavy selling within the parameters of your blog itself.
IN A NUTSHELL...
Here then is a quick rundown of the 4 central tenets of the Blog Hub Strategy from a marketing perspective:
1) Send visitors to your blog via social networks, links in directories, links in your article bio boxes, links from your other websites, and anyplace else you can think of.
2) Post plenty of solid, informative content on your blog that will demonstrate your expertise in your business field and that will also help people. Don't feel like you are "giving away the farm." You can never give away too much. Giving away valuable information will only endear you to people more, despite what some naysayers might say.
3) Have a way to capture visitors' email addresses so you can follow up with them by email with your offers, updates, general news, and just to keep in touch.
4) Monetize by selling advertising and by having links in sidebars to sales pages where people can click through to and thus have the opportunity to purchase from you. Try not to do any heavy selling within your blog posts.
The Blog Hub Strategy is a formidable marketing weapon and is not being used to its full potential by most bloggers, which is why many of them are not making much money.
It is a highly effective and profitable strategy!

Easy E-Books to Write and Sell - A Top Home Internet Business
Most people agree that creating and selling e-books is one of the top home internet business models. Digital products are cheap to create, the profit margins are high and they give long term returns for very little one-time effort.
The problem, though, can be in the writing. For many people writing is a real challenge, and can be enough to make them turn away from this very lucrative business model. Even using old public domain works (if you want to do that) requires some rewriting, and as for creating your own original work... well the thought of it can be enough to put you off. Yes there are freelances who can help if you want to pursue the 'traditional' e-book route, but I want to suggest an alternative...
How about creating a different sort of e-book. Something that is not only much shorter, but also much easier to write and put together. And one that is just as profitable, or more! ...
AN ALTERNATIVE, EASIER APPROACH
I am talking about short, 'how-to' guides. These could be based on your own hobby, or interest or specialist knowledge. You can keep them short by dealing with just one aspect of the subject per guide (which is also how you build a product line), and being how-to guides you will want to include some pictures or diagrams -- which also means less writing.
Moreover, as well as there being less to write, the style of writing can be much easier than for other types of e-book: because it is a how-to guide most of the text will be instructions, perhaps step-by-step 'do this, then do that'. This lends itself to a conversational style, as if you were talking to a friend. No need for carefully crafted paragraphs or lengthy explanations. And of course if you are talking about your own hobby or special interest then that in itself makes it easier to write.
JUST AS PROFITABLE, OR MORE!
These short how-to guides can also be very profitable. This is what makes this a top home internet business! Each guide doesn't take long to create, and by selling them cheaply at $5, $10 or $15 each there is no real price barrier to sales. People will happily pay for a short low price guide that tells them exactly what they want to know, rather than pay a higher price for a bigger e-book which they have to wade through to find that piece of information they need. So these can sell in large volume -- like hamburgers, rather than 3-course restaurant meals.
But it gets better... by dealing with just one aspect of your subject per guide, and keeping them closely related, you can create a series of guides so that any customer who buys Guide A is also very likely to buy Guide B, and Guide C etc.
Having established a customer base, you can then make it even more profitable by creating a higher priced 'back end' product that they might also be interested in. This could be done by simply combining some of the information from the existing individual guides and adding some extra material.
So don't worry about your writing skills -- with this sort of product you can do it the easy way and build yourself a very profitable business.

Ebooks and Ecourses - A Smart Approach to Marketing
Writing an ebook or creating an ecourse is an easy way to make big money on the Internet. Imagine selling an ebook over and over with no cost of goods sold. What that means is there is no shipping, printing or storage space involved as with a physical book. The customer can get their product delivered instantly to their email box in a matter of minutes of their purchase. For the author, it is just a file that can be delivered again and again with no large outlay of cash. For the beginning author or Internet marketer, this is an effective and inexpensive way to share their expertise and information with the world.
Ebooks can work for you well after the sale too. In .PDF files, the general way that ebooks are delivered, you can leave clickable links to websites in the pages of the book. This is a way to send traffic to your sites and blogs after the ebook has been purchased resulting in additional income and exposure.
Ecourses are a valuable Internet marketing strategy as well. They deliver content on an ongoing basis that keeps your customers engaged in your business. Think of the perceived value of a technical course or information training that you can send to your customers that won't cost you a dime. Savvy marketers attach additional links to products and services at the end of each course installment that gets mailed out. And information training can be highly profitable! You are the expert in your field. You can charge very high amounts of money for specialized training that your customers may not be able to get anywhere else. Instead of having people attend an expensive and high tuition school, they can have the ease of studying the material at home, when they want.
Ebooks and ecourses can be easily delivered by an autoresponder. This is an automatic email program that sends an instant email to anyone that purchases a product or subscribes to a newsletter. This makes it easy on the website owner. You don't have to be physically present at all times for customers to get their products or training.
Imagine how ebooks can work for your business. Imagine writing a book once and getting paid over and over again with no printing or shipping costs!

Advantages of Running a Work at Home Business
Working from home has so many advantages over going out into the hustle bustle of the daily grind. There will not ever be a boss looking over your shoulder to complain about your performance, because you will be the boss of your work at home business. You will no longer have a long commute in busy rush hour traffic, because your commute will consist of walking over to your computer in your home office. Needless to say, that will solve many of the day's frustrations like having road rage over slow drivers or missing the last seat on the public transportation system. All of this and you will never have to pack your lunch or grab a quick 10 minute lunch of fast food. Sounds wonderful, right?
Many people are opting to work from home these days for those advantages and there are many more; being your own boss is one of the biggest advantages. When you run your own work at home business you are the boss and do not have to take orders or be on any type of schedule. Running your business efficiently, of course, will require you to stay on some kind of schedule. Office politics and petty gossip will be a thing of the past as well.
Another advantage that you will have when you are working from home is that you do not have to even get in your car to go to work. Simply walking into another room will get you to work. When you do not have to commute to a job it will save gas money and mental stress of the traffic jams and slow drivers, as well as trying to get home after a long day in rush hour traffic. There will also be less pollution when you are not driving your car to work every day and running your own work at home business.
Setting your own hours is another wonderful benefit of running a work at home business. If you feel like taking a day off to spend with your family at the park and have your business tasks complete, you can do so without asking permission from anyone. Also, when your children have field trips or class parties, you will have the freedom to attend them. Traditional jobs outside of the home would require a request for time off and only allows a predetermined amount of days that are available to you. As long as your business doesn't need you at the time, then it is your prerogative to take time off when you want.
Additional tax benefits come with being self employed and working from within your home. There are a number of things that you can take off on your taxes that may lead to a bigger refund when it comes tax time. Start up costs, business supplies, utility charges and a portion of your rent may be allowed as an entrepreneur running a work at home business.

Banner Advertising - 5 Fast Ways to Make Your Ad Stand Out By Matthew Palmer
With the cost of creating and using banner advertisements dropping drastically, more websites and businesses are using them to attract visitors and drive sales. But are you getting the most bang for your buck? Could a small tweak be holding you back from more clicks and money?
Here is a quick checklist of five important but often overlooked parts of a successful banner ad, either one you make yourself or one a designer makes for you:
- Have a specific call to action - "Click here" is a call to action because is asks the user to do something, but it's vague and won't help your ad stand out. Try adding something more descriptive like "Learn More" or "Buy Now" to your banner ad. It not only encourages people to click on your ad, it also tells them exactly what you want them to do when they get there.
- Work on a punchy headline - If you're stuck, you can even try the best-performing headline from your Google or Yahoo paid search advertising. Basically, the fewer words, the better. Make it clear and compelling. If you try to be too clever, you risk confusing the reader, who may only be looking at your banner for a moment.
- Have the background color stand out from the web page - If you're placing your banner ad on a specific webpage, note the background color so your ad doesn't blend in. Many pages have a white background, giving you a great opportunity to choose a bold color for your banner.
- Get a good spot - It sounds obvious, but make sure you know where on a web page or in an email newsletter your banner ad will appear. Is it front and center or is it buried "below the fold" (meaning people need to scroll down to find it)? While larger ads and more prominent placements will likely give you more clicks, smaller ads have their advantage too: they often cost less.
- Make it blink (just kidding) - While it may be tempting to have a shaking or blinking ad, fight the urge. Banner advertising is not just about getting clicks but also building enough trust with your customer that they'll do business with you when they arrive on your site. Show that you respect them by not making them dizzy.
Most of these changes aren't huge, but they could be just the thing to turn an average banner ad into a top performer by sending people and sales directly to your website.

Work at Home Business - How to Stay on Track
Haven't you always thought about what it would be like to work from home creating a wonderful life for you and your family? Wouldn't you like to spend more time with your kids and never miss another ball game or school concert? Well I think that I can show you how this could be possible because each year more people are trading in their 9 to 5 jobs and starting a work at home business. In this article we give you a few tips to help you make that transition the right way.
The first thing to remember is you will have to change your mind set when you start a home based business. No longer will you depend on your boss to maintain order at the work place. You are totally responsible for starting your new day on time and control each break you take through out the day.
Discipline will play a major part of your success or failure. Although you will be tempted to hit the snooze button, you have to maintain order each step of the way because this is where most home business owners fail before they get their feet on the ground.
Making a schedule each day is crucial for your success. One tip that maybe helpful for you is to make a schedule at the end of the day for the following day. You will be surprised how helpful this one act alone will start each day smoother and keep you more focused on the job at hand.
Staying focused is a challenge for a lot of people so it is recommended not to open your email box first thing in the morning. Most Internet marketers are guilty of this because they are too tempted to see statistics from the day before. Doing this can alter your plans for that day and get you off track very easily. If at all possible, wait closer to the end of the day or perhaps during your break time. Staying focused will not only keep you on track, but can also keep you miles ahead of your competitors.
You can start your work at home business and be miles ahead when you follow a few tips and guidelines. Remember to maintain discipline, keep a schedule, and stay focused and you can very well be the next success story in the home business arena.

Three Tips That Will Leave You Saying "Building My First Website Was Great!"
Building your first site can be a pain in the you-know-what. More often than not, it seems, first efforts are time-consuming and result in a site that just doesn't cut the proverbial mustard. Luckily, it doesn't have to be that way. If you follow these three tips, you'll end up saying, "Building my first website was great!"
First, temper your expectations a little bit. You're not going to sit down at the keyboard as a novice and turn out an award-winning site featuring perfect design, flawless navigation and pages perfectly optimized for the search engines. It just isn't going to happen. Practice makes perfect and your first site is part of that practice. Change your expectations. Look at this as a learning experience and fun project, not as a test of your worthiness!
Second, feel free to experiment. Here's the great thing about building a site: You can't break anything by making changes and adjustments. Nothing horrible is going to happen if you commit an error. Allow yourself to try different things and to enjoy the process of experimentation. This is a low-pressure situation and you'll always have time to "fix" or change something that you don't like about your first site.
Third, go into the process with some expert advice in your hands. There are great tutorials and guides that will help making your first site more productive and much easier. If you don't put yourself into a situation where every move is a "do it yourself" adventure, you'll be able to create something faster and you'll be able to spend more time learning and enjoying the process of site design than struggling with "how to" details.
That's it. That's the recipe for making the process of putting together your first website more enjoyable. If you manage your expectations, experiment and utilize a quality resource to provide instruction, you won't emerge from the process angry or frustrated. Instead of looking back on the experience as a time-wasting and annoying exercise in futility, you'll be pleased with what you've accomplished. You'll be happy to tell everyone that, "Building my first website was an absolutely fabulous experience!"
This look at building my first website only skims the surface of a deep pool of valuable information. Take advantage of this opportunity to plunge even deeper into building my first website. You'll love what you find there.
I personally recommend this site: http://www.thefasterwebmaster.com

Fast Web Site Design - 3 Top Ways to Web Site Design
When online users visit a website, they initially form an opinion based on its appearance. At first, it will not really matter if your contents are of high quality or if you are offering excellent products and services. If the design of your website is lousy, online users will not waste time and just click the big X button on the upper right hand corner of their screens. Attraction plays a crucial role if you would like to create interest among your visitors. Thus, it follows that you must know how to properly design your website so your visitors will be encouraged to stay longer on your it. Here are the top 3 ways to website design:
1. Effective color combination. Did you know that certain colors can manipulate your visitors to react positively on your website or even on your offers? To make colors work for you, you have to make sure that you utilize color combination that conveys positive feelings. By doing this, your website will be able to communicate warmth and trust to your visitors. Study each color and the emotions that are usually associated with them and use the best ones on your website.
2. Do not overload your website with flashy animation, scrolling or blinking text, auto-loading sound, or animated GIFs. Flashy animations and loud music can distract your readers from understanding your content. In addition, some online users who are on dial up will have hard time downloading your website if it is full with animations.
3. Avoid image backgrounds. Have you ever wondered why established sites such as Google, Amazon, eBay, Yahoo! Etc. do not have image backgrounds? Its because these images are not professional looking and are usually used by amateur webmasters. Make your website appear professional so your clients will trust you.

Keep Your Web Site Simple For the Most Sales
To go back to the television metaphor for a moment: imagine that you're watching an infomercial for a new kitchen knife. You hear the expert testimony, you watch the knife do its work, and you find the price reasonable. You decide, based on all of this, to buy the knife. So you wait for the end of the infomercial in order to learn how to order this wonderful knife--and you're told to dial a certain 1-800 number, to navigate a complicated menu, to enter a 12-digit confirmation code from the infomercial along with a social security number, and finally to talk to a sales representative about shipping information and payment. By the time you've gone through all of this and are about to read off your credit card numbers, a thought strikes you: was one knife really worth all of this trouble?
This is exactly what you don't want your customers to think at any point while they're using your website. If your website is built on flashy but hard-to-use menus, if your ordering information is buried under a maze of links and supplementary pages full of product details, and if your ordering procedure is complicated and full of bugs, your customers are going to be too frustrated with your website to order your product--and worse, they might start to think of your products and your business as equally customer-unfriendly.
Computer scientists have an acronym to combat this possible problem: KISS, or "Keep It Simple, Stupid." If your website is easy to navigate, if the information about your product is clearly presented on as few pages as possible, and if your ordering procedure is bug-free, then viewers won't be scared off by your website--which leads to a much higher conversion rate, and thus a successful direct response marketing strategy.
We've talked about what direct response website marketing is, why it's an excellent strategy for your business, and above all a few basic principles of its implementation.

I Need to Make Money Now - How Do I Get Started?
If you are saying to yourself I need to make money now, it can be extremely confusing to know where to start. I'm guessing since you are searching for this information online, one of the areas you are interested in earning is on the internet.
Is it as easy as most people say to make money online? In short, no it isn't. Many are looking for the elusive "turnkey system" to do all the work for them while they sit back and watch the money pile in.
I know this for a fact, because I used to be one of the gold diggers, always looking for something for nothing. The truth is, if there were a system that didn't require any work on your part, and all you had to do was "plug into it" and let the cash roll in, what would they need you for? The answer is, they wouldn't.
I'm not saying that to discourage you, as there are a ton of great ways to make money online. However, I'm just letting you know there is no magic system that will do all the work for you while you sit at home sleeping in until noon.
You might be saying to yourself, "but I want to make money now. How long is this going to take"? Actually, not that long, if you know what to avoid. This will save you hours and also hundreds of dollars chasing opportunities that don't live up to their claims.
The first is turnkey systems that claim to do all the work or you, as I referred to earlier. If you come across any of these sites that say you won't have to do a lick of work, and their system does it all, run like the wind, and don't look back.
Another thing you should avoid is paid survey sites. Really, while many people think this is an easy way to make a ton of money online, they don't pay very well, if at all. Usually, all you get for filling out a survey is your name getting put into a drawing for some cheap prize. In the rare instances you get paid, it's nothing substantial. At least, this has been my experience, along with countless others.
The ones that do pay well take forever to complete, and often times you need to meet very specific criteria to fill them out. The bottom line is, paid surveys are a complete waste of time, and don't spend your time looking of them.
Data entry is another thing I would definitely stay away from. The way this works is, you are given ads to put in free (or paid) places around the internet.
Every time somebody replies to it, leaving their name and email address, you have to go and fill that out in the email form for the company you are working for, and usually you get paid a dollar or two a name. The only problem is, very, very few people will respond, and you won't earn more than a couple dollars a day.
Therefore, if you want to make any more than a few bucks a day, avoid the paid surveys and data entry jobs. While they make it sound real easy, if it was as easy as they say, everybody would be doing it and making a killing. There is no such thing as a free lunch, and it definitely doesn't exist with these opportunities.
Likewise, I would recommend you stay away from the blogs where you get paid to contribute. Often times, you only get a dollar or fifty cents per post, and if you want to make any serious money with these, you will have to write tens if not hundreds of pots a day.
I know I've spent a lot of time on what opportunities to avoid in this article, and you are probably thinking, that's great, but what opportunities do work? However, knowing what to stay away from is critical so that you don't get suckered into spending hundreds of dollars online on things that don't work, as I did when I first get started.
As far as what does work, there are plenty of opportunities-making your own information product, selling physical products for a drop shipper or wholesaler, selling on eBay, Google AdSense, affiliate marketing, and much more.
There's really no limit to it. The important thing is, avoid the opportunities I warned you about at all costs. If you are still saying I need to make money, get started with the legit opportunities I mentioned, and you will soon see the cash rolling in.

Amazing Coaching Sales Online - Announcing 5 Methods to Multiply Your Coaching Sales Online
If you are just like me who never gets content with my sales and revenue, you may want to know these methods that can help you get more people to sign up to your coaching programs:
1. Help your prospects. You can easily capture the attention of your prospects if you offer them with expert advice on how they can resolve their issue or if you can offer them answers to their most burning questions. Visit some forums that are frequented by your potential clients and pick that one problem that everybody seems to be struggling with. Offer a slice of your expertise and teach your prospects a step-by-step guide on how they can resolve it. By doing so, you will not only be able to tell your clients subtly that you are very knowledgeable but you'll also be able to get them to like you.
2. Link popularity. Your page ranking has a direct impact on your sales and revenue. You see, if your website appears on the top 10 search page results, you have greater chances of connecting to those people who are most likely to buy from you. To improve your page ranking, it would dramatically help if you can popularize your link. You can do this by launching aggressive link campaign to convince established and seasoned marketers to link with you. The more inbound links you make, the better.
3. Build an ongoing communication with your prospects. Invade blogs and participate on forums on a regular basis to get people to know you more. Your goal here is to promote easy recall that when people think about your chosen niche, you'll be the first person that will cross their mind.
4. Define your customers. You'll be able to easily connect with your prospects if you know them inside out. Aside from knowing their problems and most burning questions, you also need to figure out their online behavior. How often do they access the internet? What are the top 10 sites that they usually visit? What are the keywords and keyphrases that they are using when they are looking for products and services? You can use these information to make your marketing strategies more targeted.
5. Create a sense of urgency. If you want people to quickly swipe their credit cards, you must create a sense of urgency on your marketing messages. For example, you can tell your clients that they will get your coaching programs at 30% off should they buy within the next hour.

The Single Most Important Part in Growing a Home Based Business
No matter what kind of home based business you are in or considering, we need to address the one single, most important role as a home based business owner... So what is the single most important part in growing a home based business?
I bet the list would be long if we opened it up for discussion. Fact is that survival of your business requires profits, and profits come from sale. Yes, sale. Actually I would rather call it marketing; the term you use to describe the activity that generates you profit is up to you. The reason I state that it's marketing and not sale, is because I don't want to sell anybody anything.
The way a salesman and a marketer get the sale is totally different:
Salesman example:
A sale happens when you create the demand and then fill it with the supply (whatever you're offering)
Marketer example:
A sale happens when you find the demand and then fill it with the supply (whatever you're offering)
Which one will you rather be? Someone who try to create the demand and convince people that they need your product or service, or would you rather find people who already have an interest in your offerings?
It doesn't matter which approach you choose, the single most important part in growing a home based business is to get sales. So which did you choose? Are you a salesman or a marketer? If you want the quickest and easiest way, I suggest you become a marketer. Which leaves us with the fact that the single most important part in growing a home based business is marketing.
Marketing, without doubt, is the most important thing you can and should be doing for your business.
This is what keeps your business alive, if you do not market your business your business has no business being a business. This is what feeds you. It's what keeps the lights on, puts the food on the table and pay the rent.
You can have the best product or service in the world, but if nobody knows about it what good does it do your business that your products and services are outstanding. Without effective marketing in place everything else is unnecessary.
If you are not moving your products, it's totally irrelevant what kind of product you offer, even if it's the best product in the world in that particular niche-market. If you're not moving your products, generating sales - MARKETING, nothing else matters.
So how does one become an incredible marketer? If you are in a network marketing business, your company has all these tools for you to put to use. But are they really effective? These marketing materials are created with the intention to market the company - not your business and no it's not the same thing. Your business and your parent company are two separate entities.
The single most important tool a home based business owner can ever learn to use is how to be a better marketer. When done correctly you, as a marketer, will have prospects approaching you, reaching out for more information from YOU. They want to know more about YOUR business. This is the key to growing a successful home based business.
Now we have narrowed it down and the conclusion to building a successful home based business is, that it's done so by mastering the one skill that will bring you hordes of prospects beating down your door or chasing you down the street, with their credit card in hand, begging you to charge their credit card and take their money. It becomes reality when mastering the single most important skill when growing a home based business: POSITIONING.

Home Based Business Considerations
When considering the opening of a home base business, you must make decisions that will affect what you do and how you will do it. The following are things to think about as you make decisions about this topic.
Will this business be a full-time or part-time venture? Most start out part-time and let the business grow into a full-fledged business. The exception to this is if you have purchased a franchise and are devoted to pursuing it full-time.
A part-time home base business gives you the chance to try it out and see if it works for you. Some find it easier to adapt to the demands of a business like this than others. Also, organization skills play a big part in helping you become successful. How organized are you?
The beauty of a home base business is that, depending on your choice of business, start-up costs can be limited to zero. If you choose a business based on the Internet, your investment can be limited to your computer and Internet connection alone.
Other choices have fees and start-up costs such as membership fees, monthly subscriptions, etc. These can be as low as a few dollars to hundreds of dollars per month.
You have to realize that your home base business will take time out of your schedule. Also, the amount of time that you put into your business will also determine to a certain degree how successful and profitable you will become.
Get-rich-quick schemes are designed to take your money by attempting to get you to believe that you can make money quickly with little effort. The opposite is true. It takes time and money to make money.
You must decide whether you will carry products. This decision is based partly on where your interests lie. If you have a hobby or other interest that is based on a physical product, you can pursue that with the understanding that handling product presents its own challenges.
Services are better in that they do not require products, are easier to administer and have fewer problems with returns, etc. You are wise to choose a home base business that is based on services or other sales of information. There are many from which to choose in this category.
Home base businesses are growing. Look for a group on the Internet or in your community that supports your efforts. There is nothing like the camaraderie and friendships which can help you be successful in the long term.

Home Based Business Opportunities - Discover the Potential
As a working professional, you might ask yourself if there is a better way to fulfill your career goals while making good money and scheduling the hours that work for your life. Pursuing a home based business opportunity allows you to explore a career path that you may have never thought was possible. In addition, you have the potential to make more money than you could at a typical 8 to 5 corporate job because you can choose the type of business endeavor that will maximize your time and effort. Many home based business owners have found their success through seeking opportunities on the Internet and building their wealth from those ventures. There are a few key characteristics to look for in a home based business opportunity to ensure that you are choosing the right one for your skill sets. The more attuned you are with the opportunity, the more benefits you will receive from the endeavor.
Researching the opportunity to confirm its legitimacy is recommended initially to eliminate the possibility of getting involved in a scam. When you are looking into an opportunity, make sure that you are able to find adequate information about the company and its reputation. This can be completed by simply conducting an Internet search for the company's name in a popular search engine. View the results to see what type of company or program that you are going to be working with and make the best decision using that information. It is sometimes difficult to determine whether or not an opportunity offered by a larger company would be a good fit for your professional expectations. Often times, individuals will find themselves looking into owning their home based business. In this case, when you start your own home based business, the door of opportunity is wide open.
Depending on your own desires and background, you can create any type of home based business you want. However, it is best to follow the trends of the most successful home based businesses first to see if any of them appeal to you. Some of the most popular types of home based businesses sell products and supplies to specific industry professionals. If you are a pet lover, working with pet stores and distributing pet supplies may be a perfect fit for you. If you enjoy style and fashion, becoming a cosmetic sales associate will allow you to work with everyday people as well as other professionals in the cosmetic and beauty supply industry. The important thing to remember is that your business can be however big or small you would like it to be. By determining the amount of time, money, and effort that you are willing to invest in your business pursuits, you can set yourself up for a successful home based business serving the industry of your choice.

Work at Home - Become a Speech Writer For Those Who Must Speak
There are plenty of things you can do so that you can work at home. The challenge, however, is finding a work at home opportunity that works for you. Not everyone is going to profit off of what the next guy is profiting off of.
But maybe you have a flare for writing. If you do and you know the elements of a speech, then you can be a speech writer. This is something that is a lot of fun to do, especially when you see the individual you're writing the speech for say the words that you wrote.
Take this into consideration:
The President of the United States has someone write his speech, the big executive uses a speech writer, and many times instructors at universities don't even write their own. It is rather amazing when you think about it. You see these individuals in front of you who hold these significant positions and they don't even write their own speeches. They have people like you doing it.
So how you can find these jobs is to check on the guru websites and the freelance job sites. When you check on these sites, you will see individuals requesting a speech writer to help them with their speech. You can also post your abilities up on various sites and advertise on classified ads.
And you may even want to create yourself a website that highlights your skills. This will get you a lot of business. You just have to be persistent because persistence is what wins.

Do You Know God Has a Perfect Plan For Your Home Business This Year?
Now that the new year has arrived, everyone seems to be talking (or blogging) about their resolutions for the next 365 days. Some people are making resolutions not to make any more resolutions! I even found a blog post this week by someone who chooses a theme for each year, rather than makes resolutions.
No matter what you choose to call it, you've probably set at least a few goals for yourself this year. Your list might even look a little bit like mine:
- Lose 2 more jeans sizes so I can fit into my favorite pair again
- Take a trip to somewhere warm next winter
- Include more Science lessons in our homeschool program
- Increase my profit from my home business this year
It's completely natural, and even healthy, to set goals and plans for yourself. After all, if you don't know where you want to go, how will you ever know when you get there? The tricky part is knowing which goals you should be setting for yourself.
How Do You Decide Which Goals to Set for Your Business?
It's easy to get caught up in the goal-setting frenzy of the new year. "What are your business goals for the next year?" is the question of the hour. "Make them now or you won't get anywhere this year!" You may have even heard the discouraging, "You should have set your goals for this year three months ago. It's too late now!"
But if your plan includes listening to God more in your business, and following His plan, you may have to take a different approach.
Do You Know God Has Plans for Your Business Too?
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, in Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV).
For a long time, I didn't really like that verse. I had this idea that God's plans for me weren't as exciting as what everyone else was up to... and certainly not as good as what I could come up with on my own. So, I made my own plans instead, and then wondered why they didn't work out like I had wanted, or why I wasn't happy with where I ended up.
One day I slowed down enough to read the rest of the verse: "... plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future." To me, that verse is not an assurance that my business will be successful, because I believe that God's idea of success and prosperity often differs from our earthly definitions. However, it is an assurance for me that God knows exactly what He has planned for my life and my business, and if I follow His plan, I will discover the very best He has for me.
