As someone probably wanting to escape the offline world and make an income online, you will have probably heard out this something called 'internet marketing'. But why is internet marketing so good and such a great place to start making a profit (note internet marketing can be replaced with 'affiliate marketing')?
You Don't Have to Have A Product
Instead, there are thousands of merchants out there that are more then willing to get you to promote their products and pay you a percent of the profit. You don't need to have your own product to be an internet marketer, as you are promoting someone else product. In return for a sale, you get a cut of the profit.
It's Free
It is totally free to find a product to promote. Check out a site and see if they have an 'affiliate' program. If they do, check it out and see what you have to do. Most of the time they will give you a special link which then you can use to give to your traffic. If the site you visit doesn't have a program, then there are many websites like Clickbank which can give you products to promote.
There is Plenty of Money to Be Made
Take a product selling for say, $50. Most affiliate programs offer about 50% to 75% of the profit to you, just for sending the merchant them traffic. If you got 75% of the $50, then you would get $37.50 a sale! Make three of those a day, and that's $112.50. Not bad, and many major affiliates are getting 50 or 60 sales a day. So there is plenty of money to be made.
